3/07/07 – "A Time To Slay" LIVE! 8/10/86
We've posted "A Time To Slay" from our 8/10/86 show at the legendary CBGB's. It was our first BIG show and we were opening for NUCLEAR ASSAULT and SHEER TERROR at a Sunday Hardcore Matinee. Tommy Victor of PRONG was doing the sound and we wisely invested the $20 for a soundboard tape. Things I remember about that show are our equipment barely fitting on the stage, being so loud the owners were pissed at us and getting a great response from the crowd. This track as well as the rest of that CBGB's show will be on the "Thrash Beyond Death" CD.

1/20/07 – DEATHRASH video found!
We got word last weekend that a video from our 9/27/86 show at The Grunge Club has surfaced! This is excellent news as we have been looking for a copy since we got back together. We are going to have it transferred to DVD and post some songs on our website and myspace page. The Grunge Club was a warehouse in Middletown NY where our old friend Mark Johnson used to put on shows. We played there a few times and it always RAGED! The shows really captured the DIY spirit of the times- no stage, no light show, no bullshit. Just original bands giving it all they've got for a couple of hundred crazed thrashers! Tracks from our Grunge Club shows will be on the "Thrash Beyond Death" CD. We'll keep you informed as things develop with the CD and video postings!

1/07/07 – "Feel You Die" LIVE! 12/21/86
Check out the recently-posted track, "Feel You Die," which is just one of the live tracks that will be appearing on our CD, "Thrash Beyond Death."
This fan recording is from a 12/21/86 show we did with CALIGULA and HALLOWS EVE at The Grunge Club in Middletown, New York. The show thrashed and you can hear the crowd backing up John as he screams "Feel You Die!"
Although we wish the sound quality was better, our good friend Dave Shack really caught the spirit of the show. Of all the times we played The Grunge Club, this show was our favorite. Tapes of the show have been traded by collectors over the years, but this is the first time it has been released by DEATHRASH. Let us know what you think!

We ripped through all the DEATHRASH classics, but "Feel You Die", "A Time To Slay" and "Heart Of The Darkness" have NEVER sounded better. Wait till you hear the new tracks "Thrash Beyond Death" and "Unfinished Business"- jaws are going to drop. We are mixing live tracks next weekend and should have another song posted shortly. I want to thank everyone for their continued support and KNOW you won't be disappointed!

10/02/06 – "Buried Alive On
Myspace"
As you can see, we have added our song "Buried Alive" to our MySpace page.
This is a remixed version of the song that was originally recorded
2/01/86 for our "Faces Of Death" demo tape. The song also appeared
on the 1987 New Renaissance Records release "SPEED METAL HELL 2". At
the time we had no drummer so we asked our friend Tony Scaglione
(WHIPLASH/SLAYER/NORTH SIDE KINGS) to help us out and I'm still
impressed with the job he did! This track and the updated 2006
version of "Buried Alive" will appear on our forthcoming CD "Thrash
Beyond Death".

9/30/06 – "Faces of Death"
demo remix
Nemo and Tim went into Mix-O-Lydian Studios in north Jersey today
and remixed our 1986 "Faces Of Death" demo. The results are awesome,
it has never sounded this good. We had to have the original master
tapes converted to digital files and then remix those files using
current technology. It took some time and money but the results are
worth it. When the demo originally came out it was met with great
reviews and basically put DEATHRASH on the map. It was voted #6 demo
of the year in the 1986 Metal Forces readers poll. We sold thousands
of them! Now we are going to be mixing the live material from
'86-'87 and recording the new stuff. We will have the results posted
soon!

9/19/06 – DEATHRASH has a
'new' drummer!!!
Actually it is our first drummer Marc Grossman. Marc and I started
the band in 1985 and then Marc left in 1986 to pursue other
interests. That's why we had Tony Scaglione (WHIPLASH/SLAYER) fill
in on drums for the "Faces Of Death" demo. Marc came up to NJ last
weekend and for the first time in 19 years DEATHRASH played with a
full line up. It was awesome!!! We went through DEATHRASH classics
such as "Lockjaw", "Feel You Die", "Buried Alive", "Heart Of The
Darkness", "A Time To Slay" and "Blood For Blood". With the full
band tearing it up and John out front singing it sounded better than
ever. Now that Marc is back in the band we are going to start
recording the new tracks "Unfinished Business", "Thrash Beyond
Death" and the updated "Buried Alive" for the "Thrash Beyond Death"
CD.
